Picked dogfish

Scientific name: Squalus acanthias.
Elongated body with rounded section, with the head compressed on the back ventrally. The skin is covered with small scales with a longer central hull ending at the tip and flanked by two shorter tips. The conical flattened head has the openings of the nostrils closer to the apex of the muzzle than to the mouth. The mouth, slightly arched, is wide.
